Kevork Aslanyan is a Bulgarian based director working for brands like Midea, NIO, Videnov and Tullamore. His style is a creative fusion, making it difficult to label but impossible to ignore.

Starting in the industry with comedic pieces, he enjoys creating funny content, even though he wouldn’t describe himself as a naturally funny person. Comedy allows him to experiment, but he’s equally drawn to dramatic, melancholic stories that tear people apart and showcase violent, raw emotions. This contrast between humor and darkness reflects his inner world and, over time, he’s come to embrace this unique blend as his signature style.

He holds a BA in Film and TV Editing from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (2009, Sofia, Bulgaria) and completed his studies at the London Film Academy in 2012 as a Writer & Director. His directorial debut, GETTING FAT IN A HEALTHY WAY (2015), along with other works, has been featured on platforms like Nowness, Directors Notes, and Short of the Week.
